  • Do not be afraid to take chances. Remain optimistic as well as realistic.
  • Always accept feedback for our actions and performances, as well as be able to give students in and out of our classes positive constructive feedback that will help them improve as physically active individuals.

PROGRAM GOALS

  • Keep the focus on why! Consistently explain why we do things a certain way and why specific decisions were made.
  • Keep the 'big picture' in mind. Recognize that physical education & activity are our first and foremost priority. Consider the impact each decision, lesson topic, and or activity will have on the overall program.
  • Continue our efforts to gain feedback and assess the overall program, as well as review and implement the feedback we have already received.
  • Improve awareness so that it introduces students to a wide range of physical education issues and topics that pertain to a life-long physically active lifestyle.
  • Develop and implement Physical Education programs that will benefit all students in their quest for a life-long physically active lifestyle.
  • Keep all students within our program motivated, refreshed, and energetic so we can all be proud of what we do for and bring to the program.
  • Plan special events to complement our Physical Education program's goals; making our activities memorable while focusing on group bonding.
  • Keep in mind that Physical Education is not just for the students. It also serves parents/guardians, families, and school/district colleagues.
